Located in the heart of Tehran’s old bazaar district, this project involved the restoration and redesign of a small 45-square-meter space that once belonged to a century-old building—originally believed to have served as an old inn or guesthouse. Despite its poor condition and multiple past renovations that had erased much of its original character, our approach focused on reviving the atmosphere of the old structure through subtle reinterpretation and craftsmanship. The only preserved element was the historic entrance door, which was carefully restored and integrated into the new design.
